GDPR – DECLARATION ON THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
You have become a client of AR car – CZ s.r.o. and you provide us with your personal data. We are responsible for protecting and securing that data. Find out more about the protection of your personal data, the principles and the rights you have in connection with the GDPR.
As the controller of your personal data we comply with all the legal obligations stipulated by the applicable legislation, particularly the Act on the Protection of Personal Data and the GDPR (EU) 2016/679.

AR car – CZ s.r.o., based at Průmyslová 1208, 271 01 Nové Strašecí, ID No.: 272 04 421, registered in the Commercial Register lodged with the Municipal Court in Prague, no. C 104252, sells goods and services. The purchase of goods and services requires that personal data be processed on the basis of a legal title. AR car – CZ s.r.o. respects your right to the protection of your privacy and the protection of your personal data is very important to us. We apply all the necessary measures to protect the information you provide us with. We always strive to ensure that all our actions comply with Act No. 101/2000 Coll. and Act No. 480/2004 Coll., as amended.
Controller
AR car – CZ s.r.o. processes personal data provided by the purchaser when purchasing goods or services for the purpose of processing the order, compliance with the contract, or to pass information about the status of an order.
Your personal data is collected, checked and recorded by employees of AR car – CZ s.r.o. on the basis of a confidentiality agreement and the company managing director, Jakub Bradáč, is responsible for your personal data under the applicable data protection laws.
We never provide, sell or exchange your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Our declaration
We process data on valid legal grounds, particularly on the basis of our legitimate interest, for the performance of contracts, to ensure compliance with our legal obligations or on the basis of consent granted to us. In accordance with Article 13 of the GDPR we comply with our information obligations before we start processing personal data. We use your personal data to manage your payments. We also use your data to settle claims and matters relating to goods warranties. Your personal data is used to identify you, to confirm that you are of the statutory age to purchase goods and to confirm your address with external partners.
Data passed on to third parties is used solely to enable us to provide our services and to protect our legitimate interest in accordance with the applicable statutory standards. All data passed on to processors or other third parties is protected by data processing agreements and confidentiality agreements. The individual categories of third parties are listed for the specific processes below.
We process the following categories of personal data
– contact information, such as name, address, e-mail address and telephone number
– identification data, such as identity card number or passport number
– payment data and payment history
– order-related data
– data on completed sales
Your personal data is processed on the basis of your consent, which you grant when you confirm an order, sign a purchase contract or grant your written consent to the processing of personal data.
Who has access to your personal data and legal basis for processing your personal data.
We use all personal data obtained from customers solely for the company’s internal needs, protect such data against misuse and do not provide it to third parties. Exceptions to this are external companies that provide us with support services (e.g. customs declarations, transport, vehicle repairs, etc.) and government authorities. We provide personal data to these companies solely to the extent necessary for the smooth implementation of the purchasing/selling process.
Data provided to third parties is used solely for the provision of the above services and in connection with the purchase or sale of goods or services.
The processing of your personal data is essential in order to process your order and ensure compliance with the contract.
We will store your data for the duration of the purchase contract or service contract.
We will store your data for as long as you are an active customer.
We will store your data for the length of time stipulated by Section 35(2) of Act No. 235/2004 Coll., on value added tax, as amended.
What are your rights?
Right to access:
You have the right to know what data we process about you, for what purpose, for how long, how we obtain your personal data, to whom we provide it, and who processes it apart from us. Under your right to access you may request copies of the personal data we process; we will provide you with the first copy free of charge.
Right to portability:
Whenever we process your personal data automatically on the basis of your consent or an agreement, you have the right to obtain copies of your data provided to a third party.
Right to correction:
You have the right to request that your personal data be corrected if it is incorrect, and you have the right to supplement incomplete personal data.
Right to deletion:
You have the right to have any of the personal data you provide deleted at any time with the exception of the following situations:
– you have an outstanding order which has not yet been processed or has only been partially processed
– if you have purchased goods or services, we keep your personal data associated with your transaction for accounting purposes
Your right to contest the processing of your data on the basis of your legitimate interest:
You have the right to file an objection against the processing of your personal data\.
Your right to file an objection against direct marketing:
You have the right to file an objection against direct marketing, including profiling analyses for direct marketing purposes.
You may request to be excluded from direct marketing in the following ways:
– following the procedure described in each marketing e-mail
– by sending an e-mail with “DO NOT SEND” (in Czech “NEZASÍLAT”) as the subject to bradac@arcar.cz
Right to restriction:
You have the right to request a restriction on the processing of your personal data under the following circumstances:
– if you file an objection against the processing of your data, we will restrict all processing of such data until the data has been verified;
– if you believe that your personal data is incorrect, we will restrict all processing of such data until the accuracy of that personal data has been verified;
– if your personal data is processed unlawfully, you may contest the deletion of your personal data and instead request a restriction on the use of your personal data.
Right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority:
If you suspect that AR car – CZ s.r.o. processes your personal data incorrectly, you may contact us. You also have the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority.
Cookies
When you visit our website we log your IP address and use cookies to log how long you spend on individual pages and which site you visit us from. We use cookies to track traffic and to customise how you view our site. We use your IP address and cookies on the basis of our legitimate interest to improve our services in accordance with the GDPR. You may always disable cookies in your browser and still browse the AR car – CZ s.r.o. website.
Unsubscribing from newsletters and commercial messages
E-mails containing offers, queries or other commercial messages are sent to you as our customer in accordance with our legitimate interest. If you are not our customer yet, we only send e-mails after receiving your consent. In both cases you may revoke your consent at any time.
